A light and floral purple fairy drink made with white grape juice, lavender, elderflower, and butterfly pea flower tea. Serve as a mocktail or add gin for an elegant cocktail.
2oz.Dry Gin(optional, cut Grape Juice in half if using this)
Instructions
Pre-chill your glass
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add all ingredients to the shaker and shake vigorously until the shaker forms a frost (about 30 seconds).
Strain into glass and add rose water and dried rose petals for garnish if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
To make the Butterfly Pea flower mixture, add 2 tsp of powder to 1 cup of warm water and mix well. This will make enough for a large batch of drinks. Filter through cheesecloth to remove particles before using in the this recipe.
To make your own lavender simple syrup: add 1 cup sugar and 3 Tbsp of dried culinary lavender to 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil an let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and let sit for 20 minutes. Strain into a bottle or jar.
