Black Cat Halloween Crackers

Ingredients
  

  • 16-20 Round Crackers
  • 1 can Large Black Olives
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese softened to room temp.
  • ½ cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • ½ cup 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

Black Olive Cats

  • Drain, rinse, and dry the olives.
  • Cut the olive lengthwise in half. One of the halves will be the body of the cat.
  • Cut the other half again horizontally and place this half on top of the cat's body with the cut side at the top. This is the head. Save the other half for the tail.
  • Cut a wedge out of the cat’s head to give it ears.
  • Use your leftover half of the olive and cut a thin slice off. This is the tail. Trim the edge to make a pointed tip and attach it to the side of the body of the cat.

Pumpkin Cheddar Cream Cheese

  • Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pumpkin puree, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper to a large bowl and mix on medium speed until well combined.
  • Spread a generous helping of the pumpkin cheese onto each cracker.
  • Add the black olive cats to the center of each cracker, pushing them in gently so they are secure in the cheese spread.

Notes

This recipe will make 16-20 crackers depending on how heavy-handed you are with the cream cheese spread.
