Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz. bourbon
  • 1 oz. pure maple syrup
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 3-4 fresh ripe blackberries
  • 3 fresh sage leaves
  • 5-6 dasher lavender botanical water
  • additional sage and blackberries for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Add the blackberries, maple syrup, and fresh sage leaves to a mixing glass. Gently muddle until the berries release their juices and the sage becomes fragrant.
    1 oz. pure maple syrup, 3-4 fresh ripe blackberries, 3 fresh sage leaves
  • Add the bourbon and fresh lemon juice.
    2 oz. bourbon, 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • Fill the glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
  • Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Add lavender botanical water.
    5-6 dasher lavender botanical water
  • Garnish with fresh blackberries and sage leaves.

Notes

  1. You can use frozen blackberries if you can't find fresh.
  2. I highly recommend Noble 01 Tonic Barrel Aged Maple Syrup for this recipe.
